This is great - I enjoyed the blend of music and movement.
ReplyDeleteI'm hardly an expert so difficult for me to comment on the choreography, but I will say that I thought the facial expressions really stood out well and that comic/melodramatic (especially during the yelling and running!)
really helped puncture any formal surface of the movement, and blur genres for the viewer. I'd actually like to see that kind of expression given more prominence, perhaps even as a kind of punctuation for the piece (perhaps as "snapshots" that bookend parts of the narrative being represented?)
