Resurfacing Borders Preliminary Round 3: Cynthia

I. Vertigo Sea by John Akromfah
This 2015 work is a 3-screen video installation on the sea's relationship to migration, slavery, and colonialism.

II. Migrant Bodies
This was a multiyear project bringing together 16 artists (dancers, writers, visual artists) from Europe and Canada to address the theme of migrant bodies.  Watch one of the videos below, or pick something else from the video documentation (those of you who know French will be able to understand more of the videos than me).
