Sangita thought the 3.0 was a reference to Web 2.0, which I guess it could be, but I called it that because there are two other Cyber Chats which in another entry I think Cyn called them Cyber Chat 1.0, Cyber Chat 1.2 (the remade version of 1.0), and Cyber Chat 2.0. So I was just thinking of this as an extension of that. Also don't feel it has to be referencing the other ones....would love more ideas for titles as you all can think of them!

I don't really get the Manifest OH! stuff...it seems cute, but I don't see what the separation of the original adds in terms of multiplying meaning.
ReplyDeleteOut of the options I like"Cyber Chat: A Manifesto!" or just "Cyber Manifesto". Right now the video doesn't seem too much like a chat/conversation, but perhaps that will change as Prum continues to do more editing.
Oh, and this was the earlier logic for the series (we called by these names in our program notes for SUNOH):
Cyber Chat 1.0 was our original Skype call (the admin one, which had interesting solos but was chaotic as a quartet)
Cyber Chat 1.1 was our re-done admin Skype call
Cyber Chat 2.0 was the one in the classical costumes ending with "if you tell Me, sister, it'll be better"
But we can drop the 3.0 if it's confusing. Doesn't matter to me! In fact, maybe better to drop, because perhaps the end series will be better in another order.
My first choice is Cyber Manifesto. Second choice is Cyber Chat: A Manifesto, and third choice is Cyber Chat: A Manifest OH!

ReplyDeleteMy fav is the same as Babli's, and like Babli I could do without the 3.0. So my vote is for "Cyber Chat: A Manifesto OH!" It has a fun energy to it with the OH! and I like that the idea of manifesting something is emphasized by breaking up the word Manifesto.
I worry about calling it "Cyber Manifesto" because of the confusion Sangita had about thinking that it is a Manifesto about something Cyber, rather then Cyber being one component of our Manifesto or being the means of communicating our Manifesto.
So, given all of this it sounds like "Cyber Chat: A Manifesto!" might work, it's Cyn's top, a variation (she added the exclamation which makes it more similar to Babli's and shy's top choice) and its Anj's second choice (though Anj didn't include the exclamation point in her choice. Anyway, please post if you have any other ideas otherwise we will finalize at the next meeting!
